You can reach Gavrio, the main port of the island by boat from Rafina (37 n.m.) The trip takes 2 hours (1 hour by express ship). There is a frequent service, which intensifies during summer. Andros is also connected directly with the islands of Tinos and Mykonos islands (daily) with Syros (twice a week) and the rest of the Cycladic islands.
